When Elizabeth and I went to NY City to visit with Katharine I insisted on going to The Ink Pad. If you are ever in NYC you NEED to go to the Ink Pad. I have never seen so many wonderful products in such a small space. The atmosphere in the store reminds me of the magic shop you see in the Harry Potter Movies. Katharine in front of the store.
While I was there I made some wonderful purchases. I bought 3 stencils from Julie Fei-Fan Balzer's new stencil line.
And these packages of Art Parts from Studio 490 caught my eye. This is a new company for me.
Art Parts are thick paper board surfaces (aka chipboard//but much stronger). I plan on using them
in a mixed media project.
Then I saw this cute package of little girl clothes from Christy Tomlinson. I have taken a few of Christy's classes on-line and I really enjoyed them. I did not think that I would like on-line classes
but I really do.
I love stamps and this package of dylusions from Ranger put a smile on my face. Little did I know that the following week I would be taking a class from Dyan Reavely, Ranger's newest designer. In class we did a couple of pages in an altered book project ... which was lovely because I have been wanting to start an altered book.
I think my blog is now updated. I am liking this blogging thing.
I did not make the Little Yellow Bicycle Designer Team. But I will be trying to get on a design team. I am ready for the challenge.
Looks like you had lots of fun in NYC. Love the blog!
