Pilgrim Pines
Scrapping By The Lake
Greetings Family & Friends
This is the 3rd time I've been to Pilgrim Pines in Swanzey, New Hampshire, for an annual event called
Scrapping By The Lake.

And what a wonderful lake it is.

Here is the lodge that we scrap in.  It has lots of big windows so that no matter where you are sitting....you have a great view of the lake and plenty of light.

I had a wonderful time of fellowship with my peeps ...

And while there I created the project for my next class at     Bella Art in Johnston, RI.

My next class is Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1 pm.  Project can be done on a journal page or a canvas panel.  Call BELLA at 401-383-0199 to reserve your seat.

Hoping To Meet You At BELLA !!!

It has been a very long time since I have blogged ... but wanted to share this.  I think I have found a most excellent white pen ... it is a little on the thick side .... but I can live with that. What do you use ?????  This is a uni-ball Signo // broad.  Maybe it does come with a thinner nib.

It's Finally Done
My nephew and his wife were married 3 years ago in August and I am finally finished with their album.  In the meantime they are also the proud parents of twin boys.
Here are a few of my favorite pages from the album.

These two pages were lots of fun to do.
I placed my picture(s) in the desired places and then I just painted frames around the picture.  I used acrylic paint and after the paint dried I did some doodling with a black permanent pen and I rubbed in some different colors here and there using Staz On Ink Pads.

The next two pages are pics of peeps dancing.
I love the lyrics of a song that I used.

This is a favorite picture of mine.
Ian is crying, but I do not know why !!!
I just get a kick out of crying babies !!!

I could not resist doing a whole page of my girls.
I did some hand stitching around the edge of the circle.
Everything else was layering.  I used a plate as a
template to cut out my circle.

And here are Ricky And Nicole
Mommy and Daddy to be.

I do have a few blank pages at the end of the album.
I am thinking I will do some layouts of the twins.

Now that this is done, onto Manny and Nara's album.
I hope I can get it sooner than 3 years.
I have made an album for all my nieces and nephews that have gotten married.  I wonder if I ever will have to make albums for my girls ???????
